Compensation Range $30 - $40 per hour based on skills and experience Benefits offered at LightEdison Direct deposit paychecks weekly 6 paid holidays per year 10 paid vacation days in Year 1, 20 days in Year 2 Health insurance covered up to 99% by the Company Dental and vision insurance 401(k) plan Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Career-building training program including OSHA, NABCEP and NFPA certifications Leadership training opportunities for talented and motivated Team Members Required Competencies Licensed electrician 4 - 5 years experience carrying out electrical tasks associated with installations and maintenance in commercial or private settings Experience in troubleshooting electrical equipment and systems Experience planning and carrying out commercial electrical construction tasks in a team environment Experience performing work on power distribution systems Experience interpreting blueprints and specifications Proven track record of leading by example and providing exceptional guidance to crew Ability to form material lists Being comfortable working at heights Good troubleshooting skills, repair abilities and installation skills Able to work in high pressure, time sensitive conditions Attention to detail Strong communications skills and customer service orientation Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to supervise others' work and coach for performance Responsibilities Strategic Establish high-quality work practices that align with the mission of the company and the career field Coordinate projects and maintain schedules to ensure crew members complete their work on time Train new electricians or establish a team of crew members who facilitate training to new electricians Minimize errors and solve problems quickly Tactical Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements and also through reporting violations of policies, procedures and guidelines to immediate supervisor. Manage a crew Be the point of contact and work with building principals and supervisors to complete projects Create control panels, operational diagrams and machinery schematics Prepare code calculations for projects Manage contract documents and specifications for projects Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of electrical equipment installations Organize and maintain material lists and gather required material Control inventory on truck, job-site and in/out of stock for active jobs Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures and other electrical components Test electrical equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance Maintain, repair, install and test switch-gear, transformers, switchboard meters Troubleshoot, maintain and repair, electrical and low voltage control systems and other related devices Hold responsibility for maintaining company tools Arrange and coordinate safety meetings Supervise and train apprentices on the job Detect needed repairs on buildings, grounds and equipment following established inspection procedures Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean Respond to emergency calls as needed Job Posted by ApplicantPro
