In this role you will be responsible to develop and produce complete electrical design packages for large machines and equipment, including detailed schematics, cable charts, panel layouts and bills of materials. Here are some of what we have to offer: • Competitive compensation • Paid vacation and an annual bonus • Health, dental and vision insurance • Pension plan with company match • Opportunity for career growth and stability RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and produce complete electrical design packages for large machines and equipment, including detailed schematics, cable charts, panel layouts and bills of materials Specify and integrate third-party equipment into electrical design package. Examples include ethernet communications, hardware handshaking, conveyor systems, robotics, motors, drives, motion control products and test equipment Create functional layouts of electrical control systems and sequence of operations Design, validate and support PLC, HMI and SCADA programs Test, validate and trouble shoot electrical equipment and PLC programs Support Equipment Installation team with Electrical/Programming issues Create and manage accurate documentation package for each project Ensure that designs are in accordance with Electrical codes and Safety laws EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND: Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronic or Electro-Mechanical engineering or technology QUALIFICATIONS: At least 5 years of experience is required Proven experience with Auto CAD Electrical.
