Overview: The Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute (ARMI) is a Member-based, non-profit organization headquartered in Manchester, New Hampshire whose mission is to advance the bioeconomy of the United States. Bringing together the disciplines of biochemistry, advanced manufacturing, medicine, and engineering, ARMI is advancing new regenerative therapies through cutting-edge manufacturing techniques while also building the biofabrication industry's workforce. As a part of this effort, ARMI is working to close the educational skills gaps in tissue engineering and organ manufacturing through accessible education and training opportunities. As such, ARMI is seeking an Education & Workforce Development (EWD) Project Manager to drive and coordinate educational project efforts and related activities. Position Description: ARMI | BioFabUSA is working to build a progressive and inclusive talent pipeline to grow the biofabrication workforce at all levels and continues to invest heavily in educational resources and hands-on experiences for various audiences and age groups. The EWD Project Manager will play a vital role in achieving organizational strategic goals by managing the development and scale-up of programs that provide education and workforce development pathways into the biofabrication industry. The EWD Project Manager will collaborate and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to execute current and future programs according to defined timelines, scope, and budget. This role will support ARMI's Director of EWD and EWD Team in establishing the world-class workforce necessary to support the growth of the biofabrication industry. Responsibilities : Translate high-level project needs into comprehensive operational plans that deliver on both departmental and organizational goals while meeting required deadlines. With departmental goals and needs in mind, collaborate on overlapping initiatives with the team to ensure that program processes and procedures are followed promptly and efficiently. Collaborate with appointed team members and key program contacts to assist in recruiting for, organizing, managing, and evaluating programs. Track compliance documentation for programs and, when appropriate, relay information to team members. Maintain contact directories and coordinate with team members and external personnel to schedule program initiatives. Update marketing materials, assist in outreach, and manage planned future engagements (e.g., registrations for the upcoming school year, Industry Day, College Day and Tours). Participate in preparing, organizing, and representing the team at conferences, events, career fairs, and other related opportunities. Assist the EWD Director and EWD Team by engaging ARMI Leadership and other inter-organizational teams to amplify impact and ensure strategic alignment and resource efficiency. Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to adapt, learn, and contribute continuously to the team and organization's cultural environment. Other tasks as assigned. Preferred Competencies: Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of project management experience, or advanced degree; Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred. Outstanding track record of developing operational plans and delivering outcomes based on a given scope of work, timeline, and budget for strategic and multidisciplinary projects. Strong understanding of federal and/or state grants process, including but not limited to applying for and executing on awards preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, including exceptional written and verbal communication skills needed to present to a diverse set of stakeholders (e.g., youth, community leaders, scientific and business executives). Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective, long-term working relationships with colleagues, educators, and community leaders. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to evolving needs in a fast-paced environment. Experience with various technology platforms, including Microsoft Office, Monday.com, WordPress, and more.
