The ideal candidate will have a background in public sector law, labor/employment, or related fields, with a strong emphasis on conducting investigations. The candidate must possess stellar research and writing skills, excellent presentation abilities, a robust academic record, and a commitment to continuous learning and development. Admission to the California State Bar in good standing is required, with Title IX experience strongly preferred and public sector/education law experience preferred. Duties:Conduct thorough and impartial workplace investigations.Research legal issues pertaining to education law, public sector law, and labor/employment law.Draft investigative reports, legal memoranda, and other documents.Present findings and recommendations to clients and relevant stakeholders.Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on education law matters.Assist with compliance efforts related to Title IX and other relevant regulations.Collaborate with attorneys and other professionals within the firm.Stay updated on developments in education law and related areas. Requirements:2+ years of experience conducting workplace investigations.Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.Experience in public sector law, labor/employment, or related fields.Strong research and writing skills.Excellent presentation and communication abilities.Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.Title IX experience strongly preferred.Public sector/education law experience preferred. Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the California State Bar.
