Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Echocardiographer to join our medical team for a 13-week contract. Must be registered as a diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer through RDCS or CCI. Responsibilities:- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients, capturing images and data for interpretation by healthcare providers- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper functioning and performance- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, explaining procedures and answering any questions they may have- Maintain patient records and accurately document procedures performed- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to analyze and interpret ultrasound images- Stay current on advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques, attending continuing education opportunities as neededQualifications:- Associate's degree or certification in diagnostic cardiac sonography- 2+ years of experience as an Echocardiographer - Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentIf you are a skilled Echocardiographer looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, we encourage you to apply for this position.
