Summary Timberline Learning Center is a Reggio Inspired Early Learning Program in Breckenridge Colorado. We are hiring a Preschool Mentor Teacher to guide and support the growth and development within our preschool classroom and partner with dedicated teammates. Timberline Learning Center cares for children ages six weeks to six years with incredible ratios, a strong team, and an inspiring approach that embraces an Emergent Curriculum. We believe in building community within our school while partnering with the many wonderful organizations and opportunities in our outside communityWe are seeking a flexible and enthusiastic Classroom Support Specialist to join our team. The Floater will provide coverage across various classrooms, assisting with the care and education of children ranging from 6 weeks to 6 years old. This role requires adaptability, a passion for early childhood education, and the ability to work with different age groups. Duties Provide coverage in classrooms as needed, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all children. Assist lead teachers with implementing age-appropriate activities and curriculum. Support the individual needs of children, including feeding, diapering, and toileting. Engage with children through play, storytelling, and educational activities. Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times. Communicate effectively with lead teachers, staff, and parents. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the classroom and common areas. Adhere to all licensing regulations and center policies and procedures. Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred. Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting. (preferred) Ability to work with children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing needs and schedules. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to pass a background check. Ability to take required trainings.
