Our family owned and operated company is currently seeking a Door and Frame Delivery Driver to join our team at our Nashville Location!Our delivery team is the lifeline directly to our customers. The driver position is expected to work as a valued member of the Warehouse Operations. This position is scheduled Monday -Thursday 7am – 4:30pm and Friday 7am – 3:30pm with occasional overtime required. Job Responsibilities Operate 24ft automatic Isuzu flatbed trucks for the delivery, pickup and relocation of door, frame and hardware products and materialsPerform vehicle operation and maintenance inspections to ensure safety and performanceMaintain and protect all property in excellent conditionMaintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.Assist with preparing orders for delivery or pickup according to daily schedule (load, pack, wrap, pickup)Obtain signatures and record of materials delivered and picked up with contractors to ensure accurate paperwork is on fileOperate and preventatively maintain warehouse equipmentDeliver materials to jobsite and coordinate with customer onsite for safe and efficient deliveryPerform any other tasks assigned by Warehouse Supervisor to support and improve the overall branch operation. Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age1 or more year(s) of experience as a delivery driverF EndorsementMust have a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)Excellent oral & written communication skillsAbility to effectively perform in an advanced, fast-paced environment both individually as well as part of a teamNeeds to be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, positive and helpful demeanorProvide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operationsMust pass DOT physical, drug and alcohol screen and successfully complete random screensMust be able to lift 50 lbs.
