Purpose of Job: Lead a team of risk managers who are liable for the Enterprise view of Market Risk, e. g. Value at Risk, Stress Testing and Market Risk Capital. Act as subject matter expert on market risk, collaborating with business and risk partners on management and analysis Job Responsibilities: Manage a team that is liable for comprehending the key drivers of market risk, including Va R, capital and stress testing, and informing this information to stakeholders Act as advisor to business lines and risk SME’s to aid in risk and capital management. Direct the market risk exposure reporting and analysis process. Identify and address operational and processing problems and devise innovative solutions to resolve as necessary. Co-ordinate the planning and direction on new projects and initiatives ensuring that priorities are established, deadlines are met and that appropriate standards are maintained. Liable for market risk capital filings and related interactions with regulators and external and internal stakeholders Represent the Bank on industry forums for market risk Job Requirements: Successful leadership skills, 10+ years in financial industry with experience managing a diverse team Excellent written and verbal communication Deep comprehending of capital markets, market risk and derivative valuation. Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
