OBJECTIVES Help create and develop IGF’s story through branding, storytelling, and ensuring that the company’s actions and messaging align with its mission and core foundations. Create and deliver critical and engaging training on IGF policies, standards, and procedures, or management practices. Engage external subject matter experts to provide new and innovative approaches to helping employees understand and achieve IGF’s mission. Tailor trainings to departments and management tiers in ways that focus on subject matter as well as help cultivate peer groups and promote the value of teamwork. Pursue continuous improvement: conduct engagement surveys, measure training effectiveness, and apply lessons learned. Contribute to onboarding new hires; provide training support for internal job moves. RESPONSIBILITIES Conducts and regularly updates development needs assessments to determine short-, medium-, and long-term training objectives; collaborates with departments and teams to ensure that these objectives align with company and department goals Works with other Executive team members to prepare company- and department-level training budgets and calendars Leads a team in planning, developing, and deploying training and employee development programs. The team: Helps develop and oversee new-hire orientation and training Creates multi-media training modules, including demonstrations, classroom training, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops Develops and introduces training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials Identifies and leverages internal and external subject matter expertise for content and presentations Works with hiring managers and supervisors to determine participants, frequency, and record-keeping practices per module Identifies and leverages third-party professional and technical courses, especially in areas such as language and financial literacy Provides instructors and supervisors with techniques and skills for training employees Develops training evaluation procedures; continuously improves training methods and practices Uses training and development programs to help cultivate peer groups and promote teamwork QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering learning programs Internal customer focus and consulting skills Must have demonstrated ability to successfully lead and direct a team Must have demonstrated success in installing successful learning programs across a company Progressive training delivery and facilitation experience Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook applications Experience with employee engagement strategies and tactics Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent presentation and facilitation skills Advanced mastery of adult learning theory and principles Advanced expertise in instructional methodologies Proven experience in needs assessment, instructional design, development, and evaluation Proven experience planning and executing large-scale training and development initiatives Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget Experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts Ability to ensure service agreements are met and manage vendor performance effectively Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Communications, Education, or related field highly preferred Physical Requirements Must be able to access and navigate every department within the organization Must be able to bend, lift (at least 55 lb.), stretch, and climb (including ladders) Must be able to sustain prolonged periods of standing and walking Require bending, sitting, standing, walking, use of hands, arms, legs, eyes, and voice Benefits MedicalDentalVision401KPaid vacation and holidayCompany-paid life insuranceShort-term disabilityReferral programEmployee discountHealth savings accountEmployee assistance program Powered by JazzHR
