Description of role: We are seeking a Director of Operations to join our dedicated team at Rock River Valley Blood Center. This pivotal role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and offers the unique opportunity to lead and shape our daily business operations across recruitment, collections and special services. As the Director of Operations, you will be instrumental in driving the success of our organization by achieving recruitment targets and maintaining a balanced inventory to support our mission and meet the needs of our hospital partners. Your leadership will also extend to overseeing our critical Special Services programs, including cell therapy and therapeutic phlebotomy. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional who thrives in a collaborating environment, has a proven track record of achieving operational excellence, and is deeply committed to our cause. This role offers a blend of strategic planning, operational management, and team leadership, providing a platform to make a significant impact within our organization and the broader community we serve. Skills and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field 7 plus years progressive management experience Proven track record of meeting production goals and metrics Management experience in blood center operations or non-profit organization preferred Salary: $80,000-$90,000 - Salary will be commensurate with experience.
