MTC Medical provides over 14,000 men and women at 12 facilities with prompt, professional, quality health and dental care.The Gadsden Correctional Facility has the capacity for 1,250 minimum, medium, and community security-level residents and we strive to prepare each individual for successful re-entry into society. MTC and the GCF are seeking a full-time Director of Nursing to direct the management of nursing services and the supervision of the ancillary clinical staff in the medical unit. A few of your primary duties will include:Monitor health services unit and act as a clinical resource for staff.Monitor and assign duties to nursing personnel as appropriate to caseload, shift and unit; supervise performanceAssure adequate coverage on all shiftsEnsuring execution of Physician''s orders, exams, and treatments. Education and Experience Requirements:Nursing degree and a minimum of three (3) years professional nursing experience with one (1) year supervisory experience. Must be a licensed registered nurse in the state of Florida. Must possess current CPR certification.
