Mount St. Dominic Academy Chief Financial Officer position Full-time Mount St. Dominic Academy is an independent 9-12 all-girls high school, sponsored by the Sisters of St. Dominic. The school is uniquely situated in western Essex County and draws from surrounding communities including The Caldwells, West Essex, Cedar Grove, Verona, Montclair, Glen Ridge as well as Bloomfield, Belleville, Newark and The Oranges. We seek resumes from qualified educators of diverse backgrounds who are interested in a full-time -Dir. of Finance position to begin August 1st. This position reports directly to the Head of School. The successful candidate will have relevant experience as outlined below.The Dir. of Finance will uphold and demonstrate the mission, vision and core values of Mount St. Dominic Academy.Responsibilities of the Dir. of Finance include, but are not limited to the following:- To oversee comprehensive day-to-day management of the school's financial operations and reporting systems;- To maintain accurate and continuous record of cash and financial position of the school and manage the financial operation of the school so that the institution remains financially stable and secure;- To provide a monthly report of expenditures for use of each individual budget center within the school;- To provide for the securing of an annual audit of the school's financial records and financial positions;- To oversee the school's financial aid program;- To oversee all school purchasing, financial investments, banking activities, payroll and benefits program;- To oversee capital improvement;- To provide staff support, in conjunction with the Head of School, to the finance committee and Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees;- To assist the Head of School with decisions regarding salaries and benefits for all personnel;- To prepare related reports and/or analysis of purchases related to textbooks, departmental supplies and contracted services.Please send resumes to: XXXX@msdacademy.orgrecblid gp6c38lv49sl4kvcnz6j18gx0g18ge PDN-9c70605f-a911-4b62-ba81-5131153da92e
