East Coast - Atlanta This role is responsible for identifying potential new distributors and evaluating the most efficient method of DSD distribution in all market areas. Responsible for reviewing current and potential branches to analyze performance and implement programs to improve branch performance. This role will also work with distributors to improve performance and go to market strategies in alignment with the Director of Operations. This position will report directly to the Senior VP of Sales. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES DSD Distribution Plans Identify most productive and cost-effective DSD model for assigned markets in the model of branch or distributor. Work with regional directors of operations to understand the current distribution model and how to improve for maximum sales and profitability. Explore new opportunities for potential distribution partners in identified market areas and evaluate their potential. Evaluation of current branch operations and any potential new market areas to develop plans for improvement. Work with marketing to develop a program for new and current distributors that aligns them with our company goals and expectations. Profitability Review all current distribution models to identify the best method to deliver maximum sales and profitability for the company. Review of monthly P&L of all DSD distribution with the operation's team to ensure profitability is maximized. Follow up on execution and spend guidelines with distributors to ensure goals are delivered for both parties. Increase Sales Alignment with the operation's team on sales goals for all DSD distribution channels and ensure plan is in place to provide support to deliver the goals. Work with distributors to address any issues that may be limiting their execution and ability to deliver the sales goals. Review with distributors and branches of any potential sales account opportunities in alignment with operations and account teams to ensure all possible outlets for sales are being addressed in the distribution plans. If distribution model is not set up to cover a particular channel identify other potential distribution methods to cover with agreement from current distributor. Manage Distribution Development In alignment with operations team, participate in monthly reviews of all distributors and branch performances. Work with IT and other corporate departments to ensure that all systems, orders and AR processes are in place for all distributors. Align with marketing and production on any process changes regarding product or transportation are properly communicated to all DSD distribution channels. Establish and develop strong lines of communication with key stakeholders in all distributors and branches. QUALIFICATIONS Education: HS degree required, Associate's Degree - Business, Bachelor's degree Communications, Economics, Business preferred Experience: 3 years' CPG experience, 5+ years Field Sales Experience, 3+ years Sales experience.
