We are actively seeking a Director, Marketing and Product Management to join our team located in Dedham, MA . Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for development of product definition, positioning, pricing and product lifecycle management to include market sensing, leading the product management function, pricing, customer communications, product support, and revenue forecasts Is responsible for the overall product strategy and participates in the development of new business opportunities by leveraging VOC and market intelligence. Supports the design, manufacturing, and distribution of products, from the concept phase to launching it on the market. This may be through development and manufacturing partnerships. Is responsible for forming alliances with key stakeholders to maximize product performance, gain exposure of our goods and services, and earn a larger market share Serve as the customer advocate interacting with functional partners and act as a bridge between teams including R&D, Manufacturing, Quality and Regulatory Assurance, Applications, Sales and Finance translating business and technical requirements Manage supply, demand, revenue, and pricing for product portfolio; update and present forecasts regularly to management, R&D and manufacturing teams Establishes strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for all AliMed products. Develops and executes comprehensive marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to support sales and revenue objectives of organization. Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological, and demographic factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity. Develops and manages an operating budget. Plans and oversees Marketing and Product Management team and advertising and promotion activities. Evaluates and recommends distribution/specified channel development programs. Oversees development and production of promotional and collateral materials, which may include outside agencies Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends. Ensures effective control of marketing results and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets. Research and be a resource for information such as market changes, products offered by the competition, competitive benefits of AliMed products and their superior value to consumers. Resolves conflicts and facilitates changes in structure of marketing group to ensure objective fulfillment and swift response to marketing problems and opportunities. Conducts marketing surveys on current and new product concepts and provides feedback for future product development. Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: BA/BS in marketing, sales or related field required, MBA preferred 10+ years of Marketing, sales operations and leadership experience Manages subordinate supervisors within marketing and sales department. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these departments. Carries out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Physical Requirements: Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance. Must be able to lift and carry up to >10 lbs. Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly.
