The Director, Wealth Management is accountable for developing, leading, and overseeing the activities delivery teams who are responsible for working with cross-functional development teams and business stakeholders to define and implement business strategies, product roadmaps, service offerings and new features. The Director contributes to the long-term profitability of the Canadian Wealth Management business line by establishing performance goals and work practices which drive the design and development of high-quality products and solutions. This is a demanding hands-on and strategic role which requires the incumbent to be knowledgeable of the financial services sector and emerging trends in the Wealth and Asset Management industry. In this role you will: Management and oversight for delivery of a portfolio of initiatives focused on client and advisor solutions, ensuring that the deliverable align with strategic priorities. Lead and drive a customer focused culture throughout the delivery teams to influence a client-centered design culture and to deepen relationships with business stakeholders and leverage broader bank relationships, systems, processes and knowledge. Understand and keep up to date with emerging technologies, trends and innovative solutions across the industry. Collaborate with business SMEs and technology teams to create platform roadmaps that align and assist in moving business strategies forward. Provide guidance to stakeholders to ensure prioritization is driven by business value. Define, lead and execute a cohesive strategy designed to limit technological debt and to effectively manage transition from legacy systems to modern technology platforms, maximizing operational efficiencies.
