About the Job This program aims to introduce career opportunities as a Special Needs Caregiver/DSP while equipping participants with essential skills to provide high-quality support, empowering individuals to live fulfilling lives. As a Vocational Coach/DSP Intern, you will perform entry-level DSP duties, potentially leading to a full-time role, focusing on empowerment, communication, community networking, service facilitation, and health and wellness support. DSPs help individuals lead self-directed lives, make informed decisions, and integrate into their communities, adhering to ethical standards and continuous professional development. The role offers weekly pay starting at $16-$18.75 per hour, various schedules, free training, and long-term career prospects. Qualifications include being 18+, having a high school diploma or equivalent, valid ID, and passing background checks. The job may involve indoor/outdoor tasks, frequent sitting, standing, writing, repetitive motions, or lifting up to 50 lbs.
