Want to be part of something new and exciting? Coming Fall 2023... North Star Community Services is proud to announce that we are one of the first in the state to have a Registered Direct Support Apprenticeship Program !We KNOW direct support staff are the reason we succeed, and direct support is so much more than a job - it's a profession! This is your chance to pursue that profession while learning, earning a wage and receiving a certificate of completion at the end of one year.As an apprentice you will: Be trained by mentors who will help you through every step of the process. Gain experience in all services provided by North Star. Get paid for completing over 140 hours of related training including self-paced, technology based, classroom and shadowing. Finish with a nationally recognized certificate of completion. Receive incremental increases as you go. Be eligible for a Team Leader position or to serve as a mentor to other apprentices.
