Job Title: Forms Designer/Quality Assurance Analyst (Certified Adobe Professional) Job Summary: This position is in support of the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Forms Management Program (FMP). The Forms Designer/Quality Assurance Analyst will provide Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) forms design software support, primarily focusing on user testing. Responsibilities Include: Ensuring accurate edits and updates of all forms, to ensure the updates performed work properly and are accurate, compliant, etc. Ensuring all revisions and updates requested by customers to CBP Forms are accurate, functional and the form is accessibility checked and compliant Using JavaScript for validating data, developing automatic calculations for form fields such as calculating total amounts or percentages Conducting quality assurance and user testing to identify and remediate issues with accessibility compliance, formatting, layout, spelling, colors, margins and spacing, etc. of all CBP Forms Ensuring that all forms comply with relevant Personally Identifiable Information (PII) restrictions Ensuring all forms meet the requirements of the owning program office and obtain program office approval via email prior to uploading or posting the form online Working to investigate and document any lessons learned while troubleshooting CBP Forms Providing support for posting and uploading CBP Forms and any related administrative functions that are associated with each applicable platform Providing support for the FMP mailbox to include answering email inquiries via Microsoft Teams calls, IM, phone, or email (Outlook) and overall customer service functions Required Qualifications and Skills: 1 - 3 years of Adobe forms design experience with AEM or LiveCycle software Undergraduate degree in a related field Adobe Professional Certification Professional experience in analysis, design, development and implementation of applications and forms using Adobe LiveCycle, Work Flow, Forms Designer, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe Reader, XML, HTML, JavaScript Experience in creating interactive, non-interactive, static, and dynamic forms using Adobe Forms Designer Ability to document a program's requirements to design a form Proficiency with 508 compliance and accessibility on Adobe forms Work Setting and Environment: Monday - Friday, normal working hours Work is to be performed at CBP offices in Washington, DC How FedWriters Will Compensate and Appreciate You: FedWriters offers team members the opportunity to gain a lasting impression in this fast-growing small business.
