This role will involve working with clients on data breach response, privacy regulations, and cybersecurity-related litigation. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, writing, and counseling skills and will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.DutiesAdvise clients on data breach response, mitigation strategies, and regulatory compliance.Coordinate forensic investigations following cybersecurity incidents.Counsel on federal and state data privacy laws and regulations.Assist with technology contracts and ensure compliance with evolving state data privacy laws.Engage in litigation matters, including drafting legal briefs, managing discovery, and attending depositions and court hearings.Collaborate with internal legal teams focused on AI and cybersecurity practices.Requirements3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity and data privacy law.Expertise in data breach response and state and federal privacy regulations.Excellent writing, analytical, and counseling skills.Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.Admission to the Florida Bar.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.CertificationsMust be licensed to practice law in Florida.SkillsStrong background in cybersecurity and forensic investigations.Knowledge of data privacy regulations, including federal and state laws.Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.Ability to handle complex legal matters and work under tight deadlines.Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with a capacity for independent work.Job LocationMiami, FLBenefitsComprehensive medical and dental insurance.Paid vacation and sick days.401(k) retirement plan.Other competitive benefits such as professional development opportunities.
