Job Summary: The Cybersecurity Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events and incidents. This role involves identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a thorough understanding of cybersecurity principles. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and analyze security events and incidents to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. Respond to security incidents, including investigation, containment, and remediation. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses. Implement and maintain security measures to protect IT systems and data. Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices. Perform regular security audits and risk assessments. Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies. Collaborate with IT and other departments to enhance overall security posture. Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees. Prepare and present reports on security incidents and recommendations for improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related role. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies. Experience with security monitoring tools, SIEM systems, and vulnerability management tools. Proficiency in network protocols and security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, etc.). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
