Location: Nazareth YMCA Branch: 33 S Main St, Nazareth, PA 18064 ABOUT Greater Valley YMCA Greater Valley YMCA is a charitable, nonprofit organization committed to strengthening our communities through membership and programs that foster youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility for all . Custodian Salary : $11.00 - $12.00 per hour Custodian Hours : Monday - Friday, 12pm - 2pm, with Saturday or Sunday available, (Part Time) Custodian Responsibilities : Ensures Y is attractive and clean by completing all duties listed on the daily schedule and maintaining the upkeep of assigned areas and equipment May perform wet and dust mopping, dusting, trash removal, recycling, window washing, pool cleaning, painting, vacuuming, seasonal activities dealing with lawn care and snow removal, changing light bulbs, and general cleaning Operates related motorized and non-motorized equipment Records and reports all needed repairs; repairs as directed Ensures YMCA building and property are secure during shift and reports incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor Replaces soap, paper towels, and other supplies May set up furniture for events Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may be assigned Custodian Qualifications : Six months or more of related experience preferred Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents Ability to report and record maintenance requests Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment Basic understanding of the upkeep and care of equipment Understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use Must possess sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment skills, and a positive attitude Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required Must be 18+ Custodian Benefits: Free Membership to the Y Training & Development Wellness Resources Retirement Plan (403b) and (401a) - (Employer contribution up to 8%) Childcare discounts (up to 50% off) Salary: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour Job Type: Monday - Friday, 12pm - 2pm, with Saturday or Sunday available, (Part Time) YMCA is an Equal Opportunity Employer All Qualified Women, Minorities, Persons with Disabilities, and US Veterans Encouraged to Apply ARE YOU READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?
