AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Full-Time Custodial/Environmental Services Worker at Mercer Area Schools in Mercer, PA. Duties & Responsibilities: * Clean fixtures and furnishings to include dusting, damp wiping, spot cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting * Operate mechanical floor cleaners, buffers, vacuums, blowers, shampooers and related environmental service equipment * Wet-mop rooms, halls and other areas; shampoos rugs and furniture * Clean vents, fan fixtures, top of windows, doorframes and other high areas using a ladder * Empty, sanitize, and re-line waste receptacles * Move furniture and other heavy objects as required * Clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors, mirrors, windows, doors and walls of bathroomsRequirements: * This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and crouching * Previous environmental services experience preferred * Strong work ethic * Effective verbal and written communication skillsBenefits: AVI is proud of its team members and appreciates the hard work, loyalty and committed service they provide every day, which is why we offer the following: * A family culture and atmosphere * Competitive compensation * Health, dental, vision, and life insurance for full-time team members * 401(k) with generous company match * Paid vacations and holidays * Immense training and growth opportunitiesWe conduct pre-employment drug testing.
