Job Title : Culinary Attendant Department : Food and Beverage Reports to : Concessions Manager Location : Leu Gardens Position Type: Seasonal Part-time Job Summary : The Culinary Attendant is responsible for preparing and packaging popcorn for distribution to all concession tents. This role involves ensuring the quality and consistency of popcorn, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and assisting with inventory management and supply logistics. Key Responsibilities : Prepare and package popcorn according to company standards to ensure high quality and consistency. Monitor and maintain popcorn inventory levels, communicating with the Concessions Manager to replenish supplies as needed. Ensure that all popcorn is handled and stored according to sanitation and safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist with the distribution of packaged popcorn to concession tents. Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality. Follow all company policies and procedures related to food preparation and packaging. Assist with the setup and breakdown of popcorn preparation areas as needed. Operate popcorn machines and other equipment safely and responsibly. Communicate effectively with concession staff and management to address any supply or quality issues promptly. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that generates a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment. Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment. Basic understanding of food preparation and packaging techniques. Ability to lift and transport heavy items as needed. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications : Previous experience in a similar role within the food and beverage or event industry. Familiarity with popcorn preparation and packaging equipment. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Basic knowledge of health and safety standards related to food service. Rate of Pay : $18.00 per hour.
