Position: Full-Time X-ray/CT Technologist As a pivotal member of our team, the Xray/CT Technologist conducts scans, ensuring patients are prepared for diagnostic procedures and positioned correctly to capture images accurately. This role encompasses various modalities, including CT, DR, and CR X-ray, with responsibilities extending to managing image transmission, maintaining communication with consulting radiologists, and ensuring compliance with all protocols and radiation safety measures. Essential Functions Establishing rapport with patients and understanding their service requirements. Ensuring the smooth operation of radiology and CT equipment. Managing inventory and supplies efficiently. Staying ahead on legal and professional requirements. Maintaining a safe and clean working environment. Competencies Collaboration Skills: Working seamlessly within a multidisciplinary team. Organizational Skills: Juggling multiple tasks effectively. Communication Proficiency: Clearly conveying information to patients and colleagues. Technical Capacity: Mastering the operation of radiology equipment. Initiative: Taking proactive steps to address challenges and improve processes. Required Qualifications Associate degree in radiologic technology. Completion of a CT technology certificate program. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technician. Preferred Qualifications South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association Licensure. ARRT Certification.
