Practice Area: General Practice - Real Estate & Corporate, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 4 Years, Job Overview: A law firm in New York City, NY, is seeking a Corporate Real Estate Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of law firm corporate transactional experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in real estate joint ventures, though experience in private mergers and acquisitions or private investment funds will also be considered.Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis related to corporate real estate transactions.Draft and negotiate various agreements, including purchase agreements, leases, and financing documents.Provide legal advice and support on real estate joint ventures and related corporate matters.Assist in due diligence investigations and transaction closings.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New York State Bar (active and in good standing).4-6 years of experience in a law firm environment, focusing on corporate transactional work.Experience with real estate joint ventures is preferred; experience in private mergers and acquisitions or private investment funds will be considered.Strong understanding of corporate and real estate law principles.Excellent drafting skills with attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Skills:Exceptional written and oral communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Team player with the ability to work independently when necessary.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Ability to thrive in a collaborative, client-focused environment.Certifications (if applicable):Real Estate Law Certification or related certification (preferred).
