We are looking for a line cook is responsible for preparing food using recipes and menu items created by the Head Chef and helps keep the kitchen running smoothly. Some of their key duties and responsibilities include: Responsibilities: Cooking and preparing all menu items in accordance standards set by the Chef Stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food on the line Food preparation and portioning prior to service Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment Report to the executive chef and follow instructions Make sure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards Clean prep areas and take care of leftovers Cook menu items with the support of the kitchen staff Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent qualification. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of restaurant best practices and cooking methods. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability for multi-tasking. Must be able to work cooperatively and efficiently in a team. Restaurant experience is required. Benefits: Dental, vision and health benefits after 60 days of employment. Job Type: Full-time
