Judge Direct Placement is Hiring for a Controls Engineer in Horsham, PennsylvaniaSalary: $70,000-$120,000 Recruiter Contact: Jon Hotchkiss, Judge Direct PlacementJhotchkiss Judge.com, 610-617-7452In this role, you will:Design and implement control systems for complex packaging machinery.Craft clear and concise electrical schematics and user-friendly HMI interfaces using industry-standard software.Breathe new life into existing equipment by implementing hardware and software upgrades to improve functionality and performance.Collaborate effectively with internal teams (sales, engineering, technicians) and external stakeholders (customers, vendors).Gain experience in the packaging machinery industry (experience with VFFS equipment a plus).Share your expertise by training customers and colleagues.To be successful, you'll have:Proven experience creating machine PLC programs using Rockwell Automation software (RSLogix / Studio 5000).Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex control system issues.Experience with servo motion control and electrical panel design is a plus.Proficiency in creating electrical schematics using 2D CAD software (AutoCAD preferred).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage various internal and external requests.A plus if you also have:Experience in the packaging machinery industry, especially VFFS equipment.Knowledge of food safety regulations and aseptic packaging (preferred, not required).We offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to make a significant impact on a growing company.Collaborative and supportive work environment.Potential for travel to learn about the latest packaging trends.Ready to leverage your controls engineering skills in a rewarding role?
