POSITION – Contract Specialist, starting immediately. LOCATION – Reporting to the Engineer of Construction for the World Trade Center, the position will be at the World Trade Center. SCOPE – Primarily performing contract specialist duties of a diverse nature requiring some independent analysis, exercise of judgment in task execution, and detailed knowledge of company procedures related to the work performed. Work may consist of a variety of duties in support of construction management operations. REQUIREMENTS – Reporting to the Senior Resident Engineer and Assistant Resident Engineer. The contract specialist will be required to have full knowledge and familiarity with contract documents, preparing and/or reviewing payment applications, performing desk audits of contractor billings, ensuring proper documentation is received from contractors for all aspects of the contract, preparing monthly reports, monitoring contracts, preparing Project Meeting Minutes, preparing general correspondence, scheduling meetings/ inspections, faxing, posting information to logs; maintaining databases, records and filing systems; making follow up calls and appointments; communicating by phone, email, and 2-way radio; monitoring inventory; and coordinating processes. Associate Degree in Business from an accredited college. Valid driver’s license required. Ability to obtain a high SWAC clearance. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, One Drive, SharePoint, and SAP. Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills. DESIRABLE- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering preferable. PAY RATE: $30.00-$40.00/Hourly Salary. Actual compensation will depend on the individual’s qualifications, education, skills, and experience.
