Position Overview: The Content Marketing Specialist will be a key part of the marketing team, which consists of the following roles: Marketing Director, Chief Development Officer, Graphic Designer, and Videographer. The team works closely in collaboration to drive marketing and social media strategies that promote the Austin Angels and National Angels brands. The Content Marketing Specialist plays a critical role in carrying out our marketing, storytelling, and fundraising efforts through various channels. We are seeking a creative thinker and prolific writer who can generate ideas and concepts for social media and email content, create engaging materials, understand market trends, and use strategic thinking to expand our digital reach and impact. This is a hybrid role that will require the Content Marketing Specialist to work onsite 3 days per week and as needed for special events. Responsibilities: Content Creation: Develop written, visual, and multimedia content for website, blog posts, social media, email campaigns. Social Media Management: Manage and update social media accounts, creating posts, engaging with followers, and monitoring social media trends to increase brand visibility and engagement. Marketing Campaigns: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including research, target audience identification, and campaign performance tracking. Branding: Ensuring all content aligns with the organization's brand and voice guidelines and effectively communicates the brand message. Analytics and Reporting: Analyze and measure KPIs related to content and marketing campaigns using analytics tools, preparing reports, and making data-driven recommendations for improvement. Event Promotion: Promoting events through various channels, attending events and creating event-related content. Collaboration: Fundraising Support: Assist with fundraising efforts by creating compelling content that highlights our mission, impact, and initiatives to attract donors and supporters. Marketing Strategy Support: In partnership with the Marketing Director and CDO, create content for marketing strategies that show local and network wide impact. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Social media platforms: Facebook Instagram LinkedIn X TikTok YouTube Content management systems for website content creation (eg: WordPress,Wix) Email marketing platforms (eg: Mailchimp, Constant Contact) Analytics tools for measuring campaign performance Google Analytics Social media analytics tools Social media management tool Design tools for creating visual content (eg: Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, or related roles. Required: Personal Telephone Personal Laptop / portable computer / tablet Personal car, valid driver license, insurance Ability to pass state and Federal background checks The estimated gross base annual salary range for this role is $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year. Actual compensation may vary and is dependent on various factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and competencies.
