This role requires developing predictive models and performing in-depth market analyses to inform decision by Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Market Access. Major dutiesDescription1. Advanced Data Science ApplicationDevelop and apply statistical models and machine learning algorithms, such as regression and more advanced supervised learning techniques (i.e. Random Forest, decision-trees, etc.) to analyze market opportunities and business impacts. 2. Targeting & Segmentation Conduct thorough market analysis, targeting, and segmentation to guide marketing strategies and sales efforts.3. Insights GenerationAnalyze claims data, sales patterns, and market research to provide insights into market trends, treatment pathways, and competitive dynamics.4. Stakeholder SupportAct as a strategic analytics consultant to multiple teams, providing insights on market trends, competitive analysis, and pricing strategies.5. Project ManagementLead analytics projects from concept to completion, ensuring they meet strategic objectives and comply with industry regulations.6. Story Telling the Data Present complex analytics and insights in a comprehensible manner to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.7.Business Intelligence DashboardsCollaboratively develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards that effectively visualize sales data, market trends, and competitive analytics, enabling informed decision-making across the commercial teams.8.Data ManagementAdvocate for and implement best practices in data management and analytics to drive continuous improvement in commercial operations. Job related qualifications/skillsEducation-Bachelors in Data Science or Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics related field.Required-Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.PreferredProfessional experience-At least 3 years of experience in a data analytics role, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.Required-Proven ability in applying machine learning techniques in a business context, especially in healthcare analytics.PreferredKnowledge, skills and abilities (incl. languages)-Proficient in data analysis software (R, Python, SQL, SAS)Required--MS Office including advanced understanding of ExcelRequired- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointRequiredPersonal skills-Must possess excellent management skillsRequired-Must possess excellent collaboration skillsRequired-Must possess excellent leadership skillsRequiredDon't meet every single requirement?
