SUMMARY OF POSITION The Laminator Operator is responsible for setting up the solventless adhesive laminator, running production of the laminator, cleaning and all related maintenance of the machine. 2nd shift can start anywhere from 2.00 pm till 4.00 pm for 8-10 hours shift. Training hours may be in the morning. The position requires shift flexibility. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Identifies and ensures that proper materials are used for production Ensures mistakes are not made and materials match as necessary Manages pre-run testing of the material to ensure the correct coding weights and bond strength are applied Runs the proper amount of material/footage to the job order Completes proper checking of production and material Prepares for production at the end of each day for the following day Correctly build up production orders and doctor blade assemblies Perform all required quality checks prior to producing all production orders to ensure a product can be processed at the next stage of the manufacturing process.
