The position involves drafting legal pleadings, attending court hearings, and providing counsel on HOA collections.Job Duties:Draft complaints, motions, and discovery pleadings for collection cases.Attend court hearings and trials in Magistrate, State, and Superior Courts across Georgia.Manage the legal process for over 100 collection cases, including lien filing, association lien foreclosure, and judgment collection.Act as lead counsel in litigation matters related to HOA collections.Collaborate with Collections Paralegals to monitor lien filings and lawsuits, negotiate settlements, and communicate case statuses to clients.Resolve complex collection issues and maintain effective communication with clients and courts.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia.5-10 years of experience conducting legal collection efforts on behalf of community associations in Georgia.Direct experience focused on HOA collections is required.Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in Georgia.Skills:Legal drafting and litigation experience.Proficiency in managing complex collection cases.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.Effective communication and client relationship management.Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience and expertise.Health insurance benefits, including dental and vision coverage.Retirement savings plan options.Paid time off and holidays.Continuing legal education opportunities.
