Coating Technician (4 Day - 10 Hour Shifts)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Set up and operate the sand blaster, wash station, and build fixtures for all parts before coating. Ensure all components are re-packaged for production or customers. Responsible for facility/equipment cleanliness, readiness and may be assigned additional duties as required. Able to perform full scope of activities associated with job which include the most difficult aspects. Able to train new employees on all processes. Able to perform the internal coating chamber preventative maintenance. Has a general working knowledge of the coating industry, including other coating concepts and equipment. Participates in necessary training including traveling for additional training as required Other duties as directed by the Production Manager or Coating Specialist. QUALIFICATIONS Physical demands and ability to stand for long periods of time. Must have good hand and eye coordination with high degree of attention to detail. Lifting on occasion up to 50 pounds. Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office, Excel. Basic knowledge of hand tools and operational knowledge of sand blaster, wash station, and other hand tools.
