What You'll Do: As the CNC/Machine Operator, you will create or modify products to ensure they are within specifications, instructions, or diagrams and ensure all parts are visually inspected for delivery of a high-quality, reliable product to our customer on time. Your Accountabilities In The Role: Operates a CNC Mill and other small product machines to create or modify parts, ensuring quality of end product matches specifications. Counts, assembles, tests, and applies appropriate labels to products, ensuring product quality and quantity matches the specifications. Reviews schematics, procedures and priority board to ensure product is made accurately and on time. Continually does quality checks with caliper or tape measure, along with general visual inspection, for optimal quality. Will transfer to other operation areas as needed to meet the needs of the business. Position Requirements: A high school diploma, or the equivalent, with 2+ years of CNC or machine operation experience preferred. Basic Math & Excellent Counting Skills, Detail-Oriented, precise, excellent follow-through, and accurate in their work. Requires a high attention to quality. Able to read, comprehend, and retain work instructions, blueprints, and complete paperwork. Is flexible to move from job to job as priorities change. Solid team player; works amicably with others. Must have ability to assemble and operate general equipment, hand tools, etc. Must have the ability to stand all day, sit, bend, reach, kneel, squat, twist, squeeze tools, hold devices, and lift up to 40 lb sporadically to move product.
