CNC Machining Technician, Engineering Support

Description:
The CNC Machining and Engineering Technician is part of the engineering team and is responsible for various engineering functions on and off the production floor but not limited to the following. Time Studies Design of holding fixtures, gauging and tooling New Tooling Trials Documentation of new layouts Process improvements CNC process knowledge Approve card changes Tool and die experience ECO and ECR processing general quality system knowledge Maintain ISO-9001 2008 certification standards Qualifications and Experience: Mechanical- Knowledge of the machine and tools, including their designs Mathematics - Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra and Geometry Production and Processing- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and costs Computers- working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Solidworks, Adobe and notepad This is a full-time temporary position with potential for permanent role.
