Job Title: Cloud Operator Location: Navy Yard/D.C. Security Clearance: Secret Clearance (minimum) Position Type: Full-Time Department: IT/Cloud Services Reports To: Cloud Operations Manager Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cloud Operator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, specifically with Microsoft Intune and Azure. This position requires a minimum of a Secret Clearance, as you will be working on sensitive and confidential projects. The Cloud Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our cloud-based systems. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Infrastructure Management: Monitor, manage, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure. Ensure optimal performance, availability, and security of cloud resources. Implement and manage virtualization technologies and cloud resources. Intune Administration: Manage and configure Microsoft Intune for device and application management. Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Intune policies and configurations. Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices. Security and Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal security standards and protocols. Conduct regular security assessments and audits of cloud environments. Implement and manage security measures to protect data and resources. Operational Support: Provide operational support for cloud-based applications and services. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud services. Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline cloud operations. Implement automation for repetitive tasks and infrastructure management. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud infrastructure, configurations, and processes. Generate regular reports on cloud performance, security, and compliance. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud operations and management. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Azure. Certifications: Must possess at least an AZ-104 Clearance: Active Secret Clearance is required. Skills: In-depth knowledge of Azure cloud services and architecture. Proficiency in managing and configuring Microsoft Intune. Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance standards. Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Azure CLI, etc.). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.#CJ Powered by JazzHR
