Job Title: Clinical Oncology NurseWe are seeking an experienced Clinical Oncology Nurse to join our team at an oncology clinic in Overland Park, KS. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology nursing and excellent communication skills.Job Summary:The Clinical Oncology Nurse will provide high-quality patient care, coordinate treatment plans, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of oncology nursing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient responses. Coordinate treatment plans, including chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and other oncology treatments. Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.Requirements: Active and clean, compact Kansas/Missouri Registered Nurse license. 1 year nursing experience in a related area, with experience in oncology or chemotherapy highly desired.
