OVERVIEW DeSales University, in Center Valley, PA, is a private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts Salesian, Catholic university, under the leadership of the Oblates of Saint Francis de Sales. POSITION SUMMARY This position serves as an integral member of the physician assistant program team working collaboratively with the Director of Clinical Education and the Clinical Coordinators. The position also provides supplementary support for the didactic faculty and didactic support team, as well as the Program Director. The clinical secretary is an energetic, amicable, flexible, and highly organized individual. QUALIFICATIONS High School diploma required, college degree preferred Excellent communications skills both oral and written 2-3 years of related experience in a higher education environment or customer service-based industry Possess and be able to use math skills to provide accurate financial and other data accounting Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems preferred Ability to exercise independent judgment, balance competing responsibilities, and complete assignments in a timely manner Maintain confidentiality and discretion Dedicated to the mission of the PA Program and the University Occasional attendance at Program functions outside of standard work hours Sensitive to issues of ethnicity, disability and diversity Dedicated to the mission of a small, Catholic, liberal arts institution DeSales University is an EEO employer - M/F/Vets/Disabled
