Position Summary Under general supervision, following instructions and procedures, which are well defined, but which may require some judgement in application, perform clerical duties of moderate scope and complexity. Duties may include such tasks as receiving and/or conveying information, preparation of summaries, sorting and matching documents, filing records, collecting and distributing mail, and routine inventory and supply organization. Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job Ability to complete routine reports, messages, and forms. Communicate in written and verbal form, using correct grammar. Submit all correspondence within the requested time-frame. Relay all messages as instructed. Organize and file records according to the established department procedure. Ability to file records in chronological and alphabetical order. Ability to effectively utilize a photocopying machine. Collect and distribute mail in a timely manner, and in accordance with established department procedure. Assist with the organization and inventory of supplies. Offer to assist others when work is completed without being prompted. *Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Minimum Requirements Qualifications/Work Experience: * 1 year to 2 years office/clerical experience. * Must have demonstrated skills in filing, use of copier equipment, and use of telephone. * Must have good organizational skills, pay attention to detail, and effective communication. * Ability to type 35-40 WPM. Education/Licensure/Certification: * High School Diploma, GED, or Business Related Courses
