Local Group Industries Ltd. is seeking an experienced full-time Cleaning Supervisor to ensure completion of residential and commercial cleaning projects at various locations in Metro Vancouver. Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Position Positions Available: 1Languages: English Education: No Degree, Certificate or Diploma Experience: At least 2 years experience Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding; Repetitive motions, bending, crouching and kneeling; Standing for extended periods. Personal Suitability: Team player; Client focused; Dependable; Reliable Terms of Employment: $28.85 per hour Full-time 40 hours per week, overtime as required 4% vacation pay Cleaning Supervisor Specific Skills: Supervise and coordinate the work of specialized cleaners, specific to hoarding cleanup, decluttering and trauma cleaners Inspect sites or facilities to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment Hire and train cleaning staff Prepare work schedule and coordinate activities with those of other departments Perform cleaning duties to ensure completion of a project on time Follow safety procedures to ensure work is complete and according to health & safety regulations.
