Description:
Pay: $1550 to $2000 weekly average Schedule: 30 Days out then 7 full days home. (About 10 full weeks off per year) Full Benefits including 401(k). Bonuses (safety-anniversary retention, etc.) No Touch, Dry Van, No New York City (no 5 Burroughs), Distribution Centers Only Duties and general description: This Class-A tractor-trailer driving job puts you behind the wheel of a late-model, well-maintained Freightliner Cascadia with full amenities. Equipped with a 24-inch high-definition flat-screen television you can enjoy the company-provided DirecTV with premium channels. As you drive, Sirius XM radio will keep you entertained. A detailed explanation of the truck package is listed below. Tired of being out alone? Take an adult spouse, fiancée, or family member for only $5 dollars a week. If you tick her off; there is no couch to sleep on in the truck, but there is a single bunk over the double bunk. Or maybe you are taking someone that isn't a snuggle buddy... that second bed comes in handy again. We are going to pay you well; treat you like a family member and keep you rolling. Isn't that what it's all about, anyway? And if you are out there trying your best and still have a bad week, we are going to give you a good week's pay anyway. See more details about our Minimum Pay Program in the benefits section. We will give you plenty of loads and build extra time into each run to cover the things that happen on the road that your former dispatchers didn't understand. Many of our driver advocates are former drivers who know what you go through out there, and their job is to help stay safe and get those miles without the stress you may have gotten used to. Are you looking to hit the road and stay there? We have you covered. You can drive all your available hours, take a minimum reset if you like, and just watch that check and 401(k) build. We gladly accept your mail and packages and have a driver's lounge, workout room, washroom, and more. You can always spend free time chatting with other drivers and employees at the facility, and you will quickly be on a first-name basis with us all. We know that trucking is a different kind of life, and many truckers change jobs frequently trying to find that balance between pay and downtime. That's why we offer you several options for your scheduling program. After a year of service, you will receive a $3,500 retention bonus as a show of gratitude for your dedication. In addition to the other advantages of working with us, you will never have to touch freight. Half or more of your loads are going to be drop and hook, but live loads and unloads are handled by lumpers, and we have them ready to go when you hit the dock to get you back out running quickly. You are the unsung hero of the American way of life. We don't have food or other goods without you on the road getting it within reach. We appreciate that. We appreciate YOU. Join the team and let us step up the game on your career! Experience requirements: This is a position for experienced drivers. We require 6 full months of PAID experience for this position. If you do not yet have enough experience, please apply anyway. We have other options, plus we can notify you if there is a change to our hiring requirements or when you become qualified. Orientation: Orientation is a fast 2-and-a-half-day event with you being on the road with your truck, trailer, and first load mid-day of the 3rd day. We will point you in the direction of your home so you can be home in time for your scheduled time off and/or load your truck with the personal items you want for the road. You will hit the road solo. There is no need for road time with a trainer or mentor. CDL-A Truck Driver - Tractor Trailer Driver - Company Driver - No Touch - Dry Van - Minimum Pay Program - Fully Equipped Automatics - No New York City Narrative: Trucking is a tough job between congested traffic, Sunday drivers, and schedules. We know that and we want to make it better. Wouldn't it be nice to work for a company that gets that? Are you tired of corporate-minded companies and people with no actual truck-driving background trying to tell you how to handle your truck? We get it. Let us put you in the seat of a comfortable, reliable, well-maintained truck with all the amenities. Bring your spouse or adult child; you will have a separate bunk in the truck for them. We only hire qualified drivers, so we don't try to micromanage you on the road. We also plan your trips with plenty of travel time built in to let you arrive safe and not stressed out. Get the ball rolling and we will tell you more about the position and company. We hope to hear from you soon! About the company: We were founded as a family-owned company over 90 years ago. We still operate with a family feel and you will sense that immediately. We are well-funded and want to pay you fairly for your part in this operation. We have a culture of caring for our staff and clients and in the trucking world, we stand out when it comes to treating people fairly and with respect and dignity. We currently run about 350 trucks. We recently retired older model trucks and when our current tractor orders are filled, we plan to have 400 trucks for servicing our customers. Everything is well maintained. We have customers waiting for freight and drivers working for a paycheck and those things don't work out when you run old, worn-out equipment.
