The role involves representing professionals, such as attorneys, real estate agents, brokers, and accountants, in complex civil litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in handling all phases of litigation and a commitment to achieving excellent results for clients.Duties:Represent clients in complex civil litigation matters, particularly in the area of professional liability.Manage all phases of litigation, including:Fact investigation and legal research.Drafting discovery and preparing pleadings.Taking and defending depositions.Participating in mediations and communicating with opposing counsel and clients.Appearing in court for motions and pre-hearing proceedings.Handle substantive legal work to deliver optimal outcomes for clients.Collaborate with the legal team and contribute to the growth of the Professional Liability practice group.Requirements:Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience.Demonstrated ability to manage all phases of litigation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and case management abilities.Professional liability experience (preferred but not required).Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Strong academic credentials are essential.Certifications:Active license to practice law in the State of Florida.Good standing with The Florida Bar.Skills:In-depth knowledge of civil litigation procedures and processes.Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.Ability to handle multiple cases and meet deadlines efficiently.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel.Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality legal services.This role offers competitive compensation, benefits, paid time off, a 401(k)/profit-sharing plan, and complimentary parking.
