Salary Range: $60K - $85K Permanent Position with Benefits. A privately held civil engineering & survey firm is seeking to hire a Civil Engineer to perform bridge, highway, land development and/or drainage design. BENEFITS 401k retirement plan with partial company matching Company-paid health and life insurance Paid sick time Paid vacation time Optional dental and vision insurance. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university. The successful candidate will need to be able to perform bridge, highway, land development and/or drainage design. Strong experience with AASHTO, Ohio DOT and other pertinent design manuals. Able to pay close attention to details. Able to spot detailed differences and follow example designs or plans. Seeking candidates that possess a professional work ethic, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in both field and office. Strong initiative but will ask questions if they don't understand how to proceed with a design or project. Sufficient experience to know how to self-educate regarding new or unfamiliar design methods. Proficient with AutoCAD MS Office; Word & Excel experienced Local candidates preferred Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
