Charter Supervisor Location: Calgary, AB Why You Should Choose SOUTHLANDThe Charter Supervisor is responsible for responding to the needs of charter customers and providing outstanding customer service. The Charter Supervisor assists with other Charters tasks as required. This position reports to the Charter Manager. Knowledge & Skills Required Must have an understanding of projects and project management Knowledge and understanding of marketing and sales principals and their implementation is important Must be able to think analytically Must be highly organized Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with various departments (ie: operations, maintenance, senior management) Understand media, creative and technical production techniques Excellent interpersonal skills with training/experience in customer service Organized & able to prioritize in a non-structured and fluid environment Punctual, reliable and committed to providing great service Positive and friendly personality Skilled in map reading & familiar with attractions in and around Calgary Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs especially spreadsheet applications Able to work in a team environment as well as independently Principal Duties & Responsibilities Develop communication briefings and subsequent programs, targeted to clients, through dialogue with the Charters Manager to achieve effective communication Direct the production, implementation and management of the talents of employees Return phone calls from clients and drivers in a timely manner Meet with major charter clients when time permits Complete Charter payroll Interact with Operations and Maintenance personnel to ensure that charter drivers are in place and equipment is clean and ready when needed Fieldwork including pub crawls, Stampede, travel out of city, and any other large events.
