About the Position: The Medical Assistant will provide medical services under the guidance of a physician, to our Weight Clinic patients. The ideal person for this type of role is a good listener, outgoing and compassionate, organized and adaptable and an excellent problem solver. Schedule: 8-hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Salary: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour depending on experience Location: In person in Folsom, CA 95630. Monitor daily weigh-ins, assist with scheduling. Creating newsletters. Managing Inventory, and placing orders. Patient Communication - Respond through EMR system to communicate with patients regarding appointments, refills, provider messages and more. Attributes of a Strong Candidate: High school diploma. Graduation Certificate as Medical Assistant. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced environment Previous clinical experience is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
