Unlike some driver positions, this one gives you a better idea of the number of miles and hours each week holds, which means you'll have a better idea of what to expect in every paycheck. And because you know your customers and their typical freight load, you'll never be surprised or slowed down by unusual shipments. Competitive pay: Average $1,285 per week/$68,000 per year Starting pay .50 cpm Top pay of .515 cpm reached within 6 months Average of 1,800 miles per week Stop pay of $27.50 per stop Average 14 stops per week Detention, breakdown, and layover pay available Home daily; start between 2 a.m - 4 a.m. and end between 2 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday with some weekends Hook to your preloaded trailer to make deliveries of pet supplies within a 250-400 mile radius of Ennis and locations in Oklahoma and Central/ South Texas The freight is no-touch, the customer unloads at time of delivery Loads are a mix of drop and hook and live unload; bump the dock but never touch the freight Will need to secure both loaded trailers and empty pallet trailers with straps provided Occasional overnight to South Texas in sleeper unit; occasional weekend work available New Volvo and Freightliner tractors (parked at customers location in Ennis, TX) CDL-A Dedicated Local Truck Driver Benefits: Paid time off including 8 paid holidays Most benefits are effective after 30 days Excellent insurance coverage that includes medical, prescription, dental, vision and hearing starting as low as $97.55/week for family plans and $37.35/week for individual plans Profit Sharing plan allows you to share in the rewards of our efforts, with a portion of our profits given back to you as monthly direct deposits into your retirement account Referral rewards - cash bonuses for referrals Averitt's fleet includes local, dedicated, and regional truck driver jobs.
