<p><strong>Location: Hybrid - RTP</strong></p><p>We are looking for an energetic, inquisitive, and experienced Cash Applications Specialist to join our finance team. Our ideal candidate would be a motivated problem-solver who can collaborate effectively with accuracy and has an eye for detail.<br /><br /><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for all cash application functions, applying cash receipts to appropriate invoices and posting payments</li><li>Balances the cash received to the cash posted daily</li><li>Payment remittance reconciliations</li><li>Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries</li><li>Perform periodic audits of the general ledger and company financial documents</li><li>Work with the Collections team to ensure proper application of remittances</li><li>Attend cash app review meetings and provide inputs</li><li>Participate in Month-End and Quarter-End activities including supporting audit requests</li><li>Understand accounts receivable and billing processes/procedures/systems</li></ul><p><strong>Job Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>English Language skills are required for written and verbal communications</li><li>Knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Collection techniques and General Ledger processes</li><li>Minimum of 18 months Accounts Receivable / cash applications experience; basic accounting</li><li>Time management and problem-solving skills</li><li>Attention to details</li><li>Problem solving and critical thinking skills</li><li>Ability to demonstrate integrity and the use of good judgment to handle the confidential nature of duties, tasks, and information</li><li>Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook</li><li>Experienced with Oracle 11i, R12 applications</li><li>Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), and follow-up effectively with all staffing levels and internal customers</li><li>Excellent organization and time management skills</li></ul><p><strong>Experience</strong></p><ul><li>+3 years’ relevant experience</li></ul><p>This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $30-36/Hr</p><p>Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K </p><p>Temporary job opportunities align well with people who are looking for career flexibility and less traditional ways of working, but at the same time are people driven to deliver amazing work in high-profile situations.
