DTH Expeditors, Inc is one of the leading expedite companies servicing the logistics industry. Our business is growing and we are looking for highly motivated and talented individuals to join us. Currently, we are looking for a Transportation Recruiter with strong phone skills, attention to detail, and transportation experience. This role encompasses recruiting Independent Contractors, carrier management, driver settlement auditing, and DOT safety/compliance to name a few. In addition to ensuring prospective drivers and carriers meet minimum onboarding conditions including safety, insurance requirements of DTH and the DOT, the incumbent will be responsible for both fleet and carrier growth. Key Responsibilities: Prescreen driver candidates through daily phone interviews. Leverage and maintain online recruiting resources to identify and recruit the best drivers. Maintain record of driver employment and driving experience verifications including outreach to employers, HR, work numbers used to verify employment and experience. Maintain all DOT and non-DOT drug screens used to qualify drivers. Ensure all background checks, MVR are completed in collaboration with maintaining DQ file. Manage carrier DOT compliance and insurance. De-escalate issues with carriers. Onboarding new carriers under DTH and DOT minimum qualifications. Hold quarterly safety driver meetings. Audit weekly driver settlement sheets. Organize and hold driver orientation Job Requirements: Computer Skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Windows) Excellent Communication Skills Pre-employment drug screen required Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Benefits: 401(K) 401(K) matching Dental Insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Partial Remote Schedule (available after 90 day review) Education: High School or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Recruiting or Transportation: 1 year (Preferred but willing to train the right individual) This job is for independent contractors only.
