Title: CAD DrafterLocation: Sioux, IADirect-hireJob Description:The Project CAD Drafter plays a vital role in the layout, design, and coordination of new projects, as well as the creation of construction documents. This position involves producing fabrication drawings for in-house personnel or contractors and assisting in the development and organization of plant and equipment drawings, both 3D and 2D.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and maintain the drawing library using AutoCAD 2018 and AutoCAD Plant 3D.Coordinate design efforts and estimate project requirements.Assist in generating various computer-aided reports and studies.Contribute to the establishment of in-house drawing standards.Define and recommend objectives, developing short-term and long-term plans and programs.Review and provide recommendations on cost control, estimates, and resource forecasts.Collaborate with other plant departments to fulfill responsibilities effectively.Foster collaborative relationships to facilitate job success.Qualification Requirements:2-4 years of design experience, preferably using AutoCAD.Associate s Degree in technical design or equivalent work experience preferred.Proficiency in drafting, blueprint reading, and 3D design.Familiarity with architecture, engineering, and construction principles.Knowledge of OSHA and FSIS regulations advantageous.Communication Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to comprehend and interpret technical documents and regulations.Proficient in composing reports, articles, and presentations.Capable of discussing complex issues in understandable terms.Language Skills:Proficient in reading and interpreting English documents.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Effective communication skills for interactions with customers and colleagues.Mathematical Skills:Aptitude for applying mathematical concepts in practical situations.Reasoning Ability:Problem-solving skills for addressing practical challenges.Ability to interpret various forms of instructions.Other Skills and Abilities:Proficiency in computer usage and industry-standard software.Willingness to learn and adapt to new programs.Mission, Vision, & Values:Alignment with the company s mission, vision, and values, including commitment to safety, quality, diversity, community, and sustainability.Physical Demands:Ability to move about the facility and perform physical tasks.Capacity to lift and move objects of varying weights.Vision capabilities for close work and focus adjustment.Capability to work in confined spaces and wear safety equipment.Work Environment:Exposure to varying environmental conditions and loud noise levels typical of plant operations.Regular proximity to moving mechanical parts.Regards,Johanna JessicaStaffing ManagerContact No. 202-###-####...@ngscusa.comNexGen Solutions Corporation Associated topics: adobe illustrator, cad design, cad drafter, cad drafter iv, cad operator ii, cad operator iv, graphic designer i, industrial design, maya, solidworks
