The ideal candidate should possess excellent academic credentials and professional qualifications, demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.Duties:Conduct research and provide legal advice on business tax matters, including corporate taxation, mergers acquisitions, private equity, and partnerships.Draft and review tax-related documents, including agreements, tax opinions, and disclosures.Assist in tax planning and structuring for domestic and international transactions.Analyze and interpret tax laws, regulations, rulings, and court decisions.Collaborate with other attorneys and tax professionals to provide comprehensive client solutions.Represent clients in tax audits, administrative appeals, and litigation matters.Requirements:Minimum 6 years of experience practicing law, focusing on business tax.Experience in general corporate taxation, mergers acquisitions, private equity, and partnership taxation.Admission to the New York State Bar is required.LL.M. in Taxation is preferred.Strong academic credentials from a reputable law school.Skills:Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.Proficiency in legal research and drafting.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.LL.M. in Taxation preferred.
